back-up cd??

Help!!!!
I just bought what I thought was the full length game for my pc and I got home and put it in and it is a blank cd now I find out that this might be a back-up cd can anyone tell me what that is and how i can get the game. the cd came with no instructions what so ever and in fact says on the box that it is the full length game which it obviosly is not

I bought the game at walmart got home and found out that it was a backup cd or something because it was blank. I took it back to walmart and got home game works great and I am so hooked I am on level 40.as soon as I finish this game I am going to go get diner dash 3.
