Virtual Villagers 3 help!

I remember reading something from someone about how to get more food when you are out of honey and fruit from the VV3 game but I can't find it. Can anyone help?

Your chief can create magic food once every 24 hours. Other than that, do lots of rain dances & collect lots of mushrooms. Also, if you have completed the orchard, you can still put someone on the lift & the fruit that drops can be taken to the food bin.

You were too worried about food to go collect food. Now you're all DEAD! Hope you're happy. stupid villagers!

Virtual Villagers 3 help!

Thank you! I got the food problem solved now, but my chief died and I don't know how to replace him. Every time another villager tries on the robe it doesn't fit. How do I get a new chief?
