Seems to be an error in this one. The level I'm on is one where it has you competing against another waitress...yet it didn't say that going into the level, and I keep failing because I didn't meet the daily quota...seems like there is a level screw up of some kind...anyone having this problem?
 
Also in seasonal snack pack - the haunted house restaurant works terribly...it's like Flo is dragging behind everything else and it's very hard to do anything...yet the other restaurants work normally....except for the Waterpark one...this is very frustrating!!!

strange i had no problem at all, i think u have a problem with ur pc perhaps a windows problem, i played on xp, u could also download from a different site n try, i bought from bigfish
on that waitress level just keep taking checks and let the other waitress do ev think to gain huge chaining bonuses

Naturally the Crpyt Cafe is quite laggy.

That's why I didn't buy Crypt Cafe- too much lag, and too easy IMO. So won't do me any good.

I have this glitch too.
Just bought the add on today and ran into this problem.
 
Level 6 where there is supposed to be a private company picnic day you get some random waitress to play against.
 
Level 8 comes up with the proper beat the waitress.
 
Of all the glitches to get (I hate beat the waitress LOL)
 
I have sent a note to tech support but if anyone can help me in meantime would be appreciated.

I guess since the person posting asked last year and nobody helped her here then my chances are slim to buckleys!
 
I guess I have to talk direct to tech support  - to beat the waitress twice in one restaurant is ridiculous- especially since the glitchy one wants you to get over 7000 more points to beat her on level 6 for expert.
I beat her over 4000 but it is struggle and I did not even get to choose a waitress to play.
 
In the seasonal snack pack stand alone game level 6 Waterpark is normal play only level 8 is beat the waitress.

So I've seen your struggle for two days and just looked into it after nealsmama posted in your conversation in the staff thread.
Nealsmama is correct. There are 2 beat the waitress levels. Level 6 with the corporate picnic where you're stuck fighting it out with that speedy little thing, and level 8 where you pick your competition.
You should only have to beat the level 6 one by 5000 points, so if it is jumping to having to beat her by 7000, then yes, it seems you have a glitch. However, if you will just start out playing normally until the first dessert or check is requested, you can beat her by even more than 7000.
Whether it be dessert or check request, from that point on do NOTHING but drop checks. You get a huge chain while she runs all around doing all the work.
Level 8 needs to be won by 4000 point. I think the middle waitress, Donna, is the slowest and most ineffiecient. You can play her pretty heads up.
I hope you are able to finish your game from this. I loved your "rants" today, but I know you are truly frustrated."
 
I wil add that mine was purchased in the Snack Pack, not as an individual add-on.
Again, I hope this helps you clear this hurdle! :)

You are correct about the scores to beat - I just checked and I recalled them wrong.  Level 6 you do not get to choose a waitress- the name is blank after the scores and the game just starts with a waitress already there.
 
I have beat her but not expert score and can finish the game but this is the thing why I am puzzled not only the text appearing weirdly but -
 
I also own the Seasonal snack pack stand alone edition (bought from Big Fish a couple of months ago) and level 6 is normal play on there, I checked again there and yes - normal play only level 8 is beat the waitress.
I would never have bought the game to add to my gourmet edition if I had of known that it was different and level 6 is the only difference :(

Mine is just as you say then. It does not warn you that there is a waitress to beat except that there is the "earn 5000 more than" phrase. I got mine through PF (version 1.1.0.532). It's strange that your BF version is different, but I have heard stories like that before.
 
I'm sorry you're not happy with the add-on you got here. I don't like beat the waitress levels either, but it is funny to watch the level 6 gals dart all around while you stand there and collect money. ;-)

Bella, the reason your BFG version is different is because it probably doesn't have the updates the PF one has. I know with the Aveyond games, some portals(like big fish, realarcade,etc.) never implement the patches and fixes the developer sends them, so the games are the older buggy versions. BFG probably just didn't implement any fixes. ;)
 
Lol, joeswife! Now you tell me! I enjoyed playing and replaying the trial version of the Zoo Cafe(I think) where you need to train the new worker. Lol, he always looked seriously annoyed whenever I beat him to a task. He'd just keep dropping off drinks and not doing much else. ;)
