After completing the first Build A Lot game I was hungry for more and anticipated the release of Build A Lot 2. And I was not disappointed! Luckily, the skills I learned with the first game came in handy in beating this version. It is SUPER challenging, and really makes you think about how you're going to complete the levels. Well worth buying the game, as even after you complete each town with the gold ribbon, you will unlock several bonus levels for each town which are just as hard as the levels themselves. This game will keep you playing long after you've completed it. Probably the best strategy and time management game available. I HIGHLY suggest this game, and have not found a game other than Diner Dash that is as fun and mentally stimulating. The new and improved Build A Lot has many handy and fun features which include the option to purchase Lightning efficiancy for your builders, and the option to paint and landscape your properties. The addition of the higher standards of the parks was great. I didn't have much use for the shops, and didn't like the idea of the refinery uglying up my town. But it's still great, and I hope someday there will be a 3rd version of Build A Lot. You won't find another game out there that compares.

Build a lot 2 is another time management game that is fun to explore. While there aren't as many fun options here as there are in other fun Playfirst game, this one is certainly worth taking a look if you enjoy pushing for a goal in a certain time period and experimenting with how well you can do it. What I especially enjoy about this game is the ability to choose your own way of doing things. Unlike other time management games, we're not "forced" to do things in a set fashion. You can explore options and prioritize here. Sometimes surprises come up as you play though. =) Possibly aimed more to the male population without the extra "cutesy" play, this is still a good go for anyone.

All 3 Build A Lot games are on my list of favorite games. The first one is great, and 2 and 3 are even better! They are fun and challenging and are a nice break from your typical Dash type of game, but still provide the excitement of a time management game. The Build A Lot series is definitely refreshing and very enjoyable. I’ve replayed all of them all, and am hoping for more!

This was a terrific sequel to build-a-lot! I loved the new tasks available to complete and loved the fact that the tax man does not show up in this one. Like BAL 1, you get to complete tasks by building houses, parks, and buildings; only with this one you also have to paint, keep up neighborhood appeal, and do landscaping. No doubt about it, this one def tops the first one, imo. Have fun with it!

I really liked first Build-a-lot so I really enjoyed this version. I found it a little strange that it is so stress free, I mean there is a timer but you pretty much go at your own pace, but it still keeps my interest and I can't wait to finish my building goals for each level.

Build-A-Lot 2 is awesome, and is way better than the first one. The graphic quality has improved a lot, and we love how the new options have been added. We only wish that we could buy it! We're trying to convince our parents!

This is by far much better than Build-a-Lot. I loved playing that game & was sadden when I had gone all the way & could go no further in the game. Now I can enjoy Build-a-Lot 2 & I am very excited about it. Playfirst has the greatest games. This game is a hit!
