Drugstore Mania, the latest time management game to vie for our attention and hard-earned cash is a colourful feast for the eyes. The graphics are respectable and the games does becomes more fast-paced the more you progess.
However, the animation lacks imagination as the characters' actions are repetitive and monotonous. This coupled with the slightly deranged animee expressions on the characters' faces, left me somewhat creeped-out. The mini-game which pops up every now and again adds very little to the action and presents very little challenge.
A decent game for novice time-management gamers, but for the more experienced, I would say, 'Stick with the Diner Dash franchise'.

I was not a fan of this game at all. I played the free trial to find that it's ridden with horrible spelling and grammar errors. Now, this may seem picky, but it gets confusing when the tutorial messes with your comprehension. It's also pretty slow, and there's not much progression of difficulty. It IS unique in its Japanese-style graphics, but when I got to around the 45 minute mark of my free trial, it froze my computer! This game isn't worth your time, but there are tons of other, better Dash games to choose from like Wedding Dash or Cooking Dash. I suggest those over this game any day to anyone.

This is by far the worst game I've ever played on PlayFirst. Not only is it far too simple and uninteresting, but it seems as if the programmers didn't even care enough to have someone check their spelling and English. The English is so bad that it even affects the explanation of some aspects of the game. For example, how can you give a hint about what the question mark means when you're calling it an exclamation mark!

I really enjoyed the game itself. However, I dont like that you cant go back and replay certain levels to get an expert score.

This game is OK ...
I don't really care for the graphics but the story and game itself are cute...
About half way through my trial version, I got a "Fatal Error" message and then my girl stopped moving -- I could click on EVERYTHING else in the place but she just wasn't moving....
After trying to "fix" the problem -- to no avail -- I deleted the trial version and moved on with my day....
Fun to play -- I'd play it online but I wouldn't purchase it for $19.95 (or even $9.95) for that matter....
Out of 5 stars, I'll give it 3 because it DID keep me entertained for half an hour...

I love time management games and I found this one to be just boring. I didn't even finish the free trial.

Ok not the best time management time game i've ever played, but not entirely without charm.
The game maybe have a 'slightly wierd translation' vibe, but nothing that cannot be understood. The graphics have a cutesy anime feel to them, not dazzling but enough to make you smile, at least for a couple of minutes. Like most time management games you get upgrade, but unlike most the choice, to upgrade or not to upgrade, game play starts very easy and will probably remain easy until you're bored of it.
Not to my taste certainly, and perhaps not the taste of the avid time management gamer. But worth 30 minutes play if you have some time to kill.

For those of you who want to play a time management game geared towards 8 year olds, this game is right up your alley. I actually liked the style of graphics, but the game is way too easy and contains numerous grammatical errors. What is happening with time management games coming out the last couple of months? Most of them them seem to be mediocre and the quality is actually going down the tubes...

I only played the trial. I couldn't go back and replay a level. There was no restart level on options. It is cute. Got a little on the boring side. I think it would be good for people who wants s TM that is a little slower.
