I have totally loved playing this game. I definitely have to give Playfirst a thumbs up for this game and wish they would make more like this one. Alot of people compared it to Mytribe, etc... but I found it *nothing* like those games. Those games always bored the heck out of me. Building was slow, everything seemed slow.. but not in this game.
The graphics are very good, the puzzles are great, building your population, growing and harvesting food.. even milking the cute little fluffy guys are a joy. hah.
It is not a hard game at all, but a little challenging when it comes time to deciding what and when to upgrade things and sometimes knowing what to do with all the headstones. Yes, the little people do die from old age in this age...it is a constant thing with population. Old people die, babies are born. I guess the way it works in real life.
Have fun with this one!

Okay, I did not think I would like this game, but after playing the demo, it's really fun. The babies are so cute. It has a slice of reality built in where people need to learn a skill in order to progress, just as in real life. In order to reach a goal you must work to achieve it, this is the lesson of this game. It's also fun deciding which task to accomplish next to get to your goal.

I really loved this game. I liked Virtual Villagers too, but only this one can be completed in a day, it took me between 7 - 8 hours to complete and I was totally hooked. I didn't want to turn it off until I finished. I also liked the fact that there was certain things you had to do before you could uncover the zodiac signs. Not to spoil it by revealing all. I would definately give it a go if you like these sort of games. This game has a big thumbs up from me.

Good going PlayFirst. I got to say, pretty good game. If you a fan of virtual families or Lost Tribe, then this Is not a bad buy. The graphics are pretty decent, The follow along instructions are easy to work with. Its the basic, and order to get anywhere In the game, you start off with male and female characters, marry them according to their taste, and then produce babies to keep your population up and running. Of course, age becomes a factor In this game, as well as death. You will find yourself building and farming, and also going to school to learn all your abilities. There Is a small problem with this game. When characters are working close together, You do have a problem with picking up the character that you want, to either marry off or do somthing else.. It's a small problem, but a small problem that becomes a pain after a while. There are two puzzles to solve through out the whole game.. which are pretty easy.. all In all the game Is pretty easy to play and complete. With that being said, along with difficulting picking up characters. I cant give the game 5 stars.. I give It 4.. Its a pretty good game that will keep you entertained for hours.. Hope you enjoy It.

WOW. Playfirst hit the ball out of the park with this one! It's so addicting. If you like fast-pased games like diner dash and cake mania, you may find this a bit slow, if you like that game "For my kingdom" or something similar you'll like this. If you're a SIMS fan, you should like this too. You assign tasks, the people go and do it, you marry people based on their zodiac signs and build things, have kids. I really enjoyed it! I'm actually considering buying it! I just hope that the game is longer then just the otherside of the river or it could end pretty fast. THERE IS NO FASTFORWARD so everything's in "real time".

I absolutely adored this game! Way way way better than other games such as My Tribe which were insanely slow. Gemini Lost is exciting enough to keep me hooked. The graphics are lovely and I love the fact that the characters live and die. Had some problems locating the tombstones when my characters died of old age though, had to keep hunting around for them although they technically do not block paths, just a little of an eyesore. Also difficult to pick up a specific character to change their current activity if they are clustered together. However, overall fast enough to keep you wanting to do more and continue with the goals instead of sitting and staring at your computer screen. Also great that the game needs tasks to be completed before more sections are revealed. However, overall, excellent game. Hope to see the sequel soon.

If you liked virtual families Gemini Lost is so much better than that!
PLEASE keep making these games!!! This game has great graphics and there is always something to do...you will not be disapointed with this purchase :)

Just started playing but I simply love it. I found MyTribe a bit boring due to the lack of purpose. This is as much as cute and much more fun!

very good game, a little challenging but nothing too difficult. i only wish it was a longer game... able to complete it in less than a week.
