The graphics are phenomenal, and the game play is ultra smooth, no awkward movements here. The interactive story line, along with the fact that you can't "redo" levels, gives this game a great REplay value! The "Super Collapse" type mini game between shops is an awesome way to earn your upgrades... I simply love this game, the music, the artwork, it's all of the highest quality I've seen in some time. A must have for time management fans!

Miriel the Magical Merchant has a great concept (though admittedly done before.) It has cute graphics, Miriel literally bounces from place to place and it has an easy learning curve. The idea behind the choices you make affecting the storyline of the game is fabulous and helps you to care about the characters. What I didn't like is when you're not using your fast power-up (which you trigger by serving certain customers quickly) Meriel and her equipment are painfully slow. This becomes more apparant as you progress past the first few stages. You might have four customers who want jam, so you grab an apple and then have to wait for another apple to appear, then put them in the oven and wait for them to cook, repeat the next three times for your remaining customers and it starts to get annoyingly tedious. It's like a slower version of Mystic Inn, but with puzzle levels and an interactive storyline. I recommend trying this game but not expecting it to be up to the calibre of the various Dash or similar games out there.

Miriel the Magical Merchant is more than just a time management game. There's an interactive storyline and upgrade minigame as well as unlockable recipies you can make in your own home. The graphics are clean and colorful, the music is wonderful and the gameplay is very challenging. It was also a pleasure to meet and "work with" Muriel as she's a honest and hard working young woman who does what it takes to make her magical dreams come true. This game deserves my highest recommendation to anyone who loves time management games.

Very fun to play. Running the shop gets more and more complex as different recipes come in - having recipes to try yourself was a cute added touch. The branching storyline also makes a replay more interesting.

This game is really fun. I love the graphics and the storyline. I just wish that the apples and strawberries would appear a little faster! I found it to be fairly challenging at the higher levels. Overall it is a great game and I had to buy it ! Definitely a keeper and hopefully will have sequels too.

Miriel is a creative twist on the time-management restaurant/diner games. Miriel is magical and not only sells goods (water, flour, honey, fruit) in her store, but also makes delicious foods from her goods (chocolate cake, cheese, bread, jams). Clients order items from her, which she sells to them. If she sells in enough time, she can use her magic to upgrade her ovens, move faster, satisfy impatient customers with cansy (mmm!), etc. Also, there is a nice little story where you, the player, can choose how you respond to Miriel (nicely or not), which modifies the outcome of the overall game to a small extent. In addition, you get recipes for the items she makes in her store! Easy to make at home if you want to! It is such a nice game. But beware: it is FAST PACED! I Love it.

Absolutley fantastic game .. you do not get bored.... it is very challenging and a game you would enjoy. It gets busier as you go on and she walks at a good pace, not to slow but the oven and the apples take a long time to cook or pick up but apart from that it is fantastic i only did the 60 minute trial but i would have kept playing this game if i could... i would definatly recomend buying it.
xxxx have fun!!! xxxx Definatly 5 stars wicked game xxxx
