Oasis is, quite frankly, one of the most original and fun experiences out there. I've tried to explain it to friends, and the best I've been able to come up with is: "It's like Civilization, only the games take five minutes!"
If you like quick, deep, rewarding strategy experiences, this game is a must-play. Heck, if you like *fun*, this game is a must-play.

Simple premise and rules lead to unexpectedly complex game play - one can complete levels relatively easily with some practice but high scores are a real challenge.

I didn't find this game to be a fun as others. I thought that it was too much chance and not enough strategy for me. Of all the PlayFirst games I have purchased (prior to knowing that I could try before I bought), this is the one game that I truly regret spending the money.

I like this game. I like how it has four levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Insane. I often go back to the easier levels and play them again for the fun of it. I really enjoy the help you get from certain prophets. My favorites are the Engineer, the Scout, and the Alchemist.

It's pretty fun, if you like war games you will like this. At first I wasn't sure what I was doing, had to go back and view the how to play, then it was fun.
