Graphics are the best in the series yet, although the font can be overwhelming after a while. There are neat mini references to Greek and Roman mythology.
Gameplay is more complex in that there's possibility of interaction with more characters. On the other hand, this means more to keep track of and not all features are well-explained. I breezed through Tradewinds 2, but this game left me wandering around a lot initially. I was also confused by the hierarchy of buying ships; after I had more money, somehow I could not buy a 10,000 drachma ship, only a 7,000 drachma. Wierd.
The quests are more disparate than in Tradewinds 2 (I didn't like Legends), and sometimes after earning a item, one wonders what to do with it, whether it will be useful in the long term.
All in all, still a great game in comparison to the others out on the market. Definitely worth your time.

I love the Tradewinds Series and this is my favorite game so far. The graphics are much better and it's easier to read the quest text now that it's blown up for you. I also think that the city facilities in the hoverbox over every port is the best improvement of all. This way I'm not wandering aimlessly lookng for a shipyard for repairs! Also, if you like this, try Tradewinds Caravans also. I'm not sure if they have it on this site but it's also a great game.

I own all the tradewinds games, and LOVE them all! I have dial-up, so I couldn't download the game. My back-up CD arrived in only 3 days! I play until I'm so tired I have to go to bed. Then I wake up and play some more. I first completed the game as "Phil". Even after I completed all the quests, it was still fun. I played on for hours. Then I tried playing as the "Minataur". Wait till you battle the pudgy, bald guys. They look so funny. The new "Ram" ability is cool, and the story puts a new twist on Greek Mythology. Great game! Of all the "Tradewinds" games, I like this one the best. I can hardly wait for the next one! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

A thumb-up for this game and felt delighted to play this new series which is very different compared to the other tradewinds series that i have played before.The art, gameplay,graphic is good except for the music.it has got six different characters and other added on features in the game with a lot of replay mode..Great job, Sandlot!!

For me, this is the best Tradewinds. Gorgeous graphics, great stories and great characters (all of them! really), beautiful battles and funny dialogues. I played for hours, enjoyed every minute. Hope you too.
