I played this game on another site a couple of months ago and I loved it. It reminds you of Chocolatier because you purchase your ingredients to make wine then you have your wine recipes you have quests to complete and you have your own wine vineyards and Winery's to run I thouhgt it was awesome not as long as Chocolatier but just as interesting and fun.

Having only played the free trial, I cannot say much as to the length of the game, but I can say that I was very disappointed in that I expected it to be on par with Chocolatier (it's pretty much the exact same format). The overall speed of the game is SLOW. Planting and growing the grape vines is a horrible process in my opinion and most of the other activities are just as time-consuming, unlike in the fast-paced, pulse-quickening Chocolatier series. Going to different parts of the world is interesting (even though you do that in, like, half of all the time management games out there) but there aren't as many interesting characters to hold your attention. My advice: try it before buying it.

If you enjoy the Chocolatier series as I did, you will find that Winemaker Extraordinaire has a similar feel to it except that the ingredients are not that diverse and exotic. The setting of the factory is also a little less challenging but overall its worth a try!

I was sadly disappointed in this game as I was expecting something similar to the Chocoatier games. And it was similar but the challenge nor the graphics just weren't there to hold my interest for very long. I finally did make it to the end of the game...after a few breaks to wake up.

I LOVE this game! As soon as I completed all the quests, I had to play it again. Growing and sorting the grapes is fun, but making the wine is a blast! Collect recipes, buy ingredients, make wine and sell for a profit. I really enjoyed the music. Some ports made me want to dance, but I couldn't quit playing the game. The end of the story took me back to my own childhood memories of picking berries with my Grampa. Great game!

I just bought this game from another site at a cheaper price and I think this game is awesome. It's alot like chocolatier but has many different mini games, I highly recommend checking this game out, I played the trial and fell in love with it and had to buy it. I think you'll really enjoy it.

This game is based on the Chocolatier concept - you search the world for exotic grapes and recipes for fine wine blends, and build your empire by filling orders and purchasing more wineries. Winemaker Extraordinaire is, unfortunately, less challenging than the Chocolatier series. The skill games (for sorting grapes, setting up your wine press, and planting your vineyards) are very quickly mastered. WE also lacks one of the most interesting features of the Chocolatier games - the ability to haggle with merchants over prices. The game appears to need further beta testing - a lot of the dialog elicited from characters in the game contains typos, and some of it is garbled. Overall a good concept, but not as thoughtfully produced as the Chocolatier games.

Enjoyed chocolatier series so tried this. Interesting concept but the cities and grapes look alike. Got bored after pressing different varieties.

Winemaker Extraordinaire (WE) reminds me of Chocolatier but this game is much better! There's a lot of things you can do: plant, sort the grapes, hire the employees, make and sell wine. WE also tell me where to buy the exactly ingredients so I don't have to write to a paper: "Germany-High shoulder bottles, sloping shoulder bottles, Riesling,...". I'm really addicted at WE- an easy, interesting game.
