Job Description

You are a game producer who is a self-starter, a team player, and an effective manager and communicator. As a key member of the PlayFirst Mobile team, you understand and contribute to overall company goals and the design and development requirements that fuel your work. You are able to excel at a strategic level, imagining the best games to serve our target consumers on a variety of platforms, and you are also able to operate effectively at a tactical level, driving concepts through the approval process and development, to launch and beyond.


  • Own the production of mobile games once approved for development or publishing, including project budget, schedule, and resources.
  • Ensure rapid development through agile processes and live team methodologies that allow for frequent updates to all games to incorporate new features and improvements.
  • Identify, partner with, and lead internal/external development teams, including game designers, artists, engineers, QA and other production resources to timely and successful project completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry leading developers, licensors, and distribution partners.
  • Source new game ideas to present for Greenlight by drafting game proposals consisting of concept docs, development plans, product plans, and schedules.
  • Understand and contribute to overall company goals and core values, bringing a positive and collaborative approach in everything that you do at PlayFirst.
  • Contribute to and help drive ideation process for creating new concepts and ideas, shepherding from back of napkin through executive approval.


  • Excellent analytical, technical and project management skills required.
  • 3 years of game production experience.
  • Mobile, social, or web-based game development experience, especially where gaming-as-a-service and agile production models are in use.
  • Tenacious ability to independently drive multiple projects on-time and on-budget while meeting the highest level of quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to change based on consumer insights and/or marketing trends.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work well throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated success in management of creative endeavors and projects.
  • Proven ability to deliver in short cycles of development.
  • Game design experience and/or passion for games are pluses, as is experience working in a gaming as a service environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Minimum 4-year college degree (MBA a plus).
  • Competence with game industry-standard software tools, design documents and production processes/best practices (budgets, game concept and prototyping creation, project management, bug reports and defect tracking).
  • Must be incredibly detail oriented and have proven top-notch organizational skills.
  • Must have current US work authorization.
