This is the first Tradewinds game I have played and I love it. I am truely hooked. It has the adventure like Chocolatier buying and finding things. It allows you to be creative especially when your money is running short. It has a sense of humor throughout the game that keeps it interesting. I can't wait to try the others.

The writing in this game is amazing. Sharp and funny. I love way the characters storylines overlap. I enjoyed the diversity of ships, shopkeepers, and pirate encounters. The battles themselves were repetitive without much challenge (once you can afford to arm yourself) but the market vagaries and the quests BONZO! This was the first game I bought online.

I get how you play the game. I just didn't care for it much. The graphics were cool. Not a hard game. Get money, sell provisions, buy provisions, make a profit, stock your ship, move it to another port, visit buildings, take on tasks, repeat. Watch out that they don't sink your ship! Very similar to Chocolatier, but somehow I liked that game better. Maybe cuz I'm a female darn it!

this is a first class game for me i think you will love it very much you choose from 4 different character's, Unless you play the online version then you only have 1 playable character. if you are thinking of buying this game go right ahead it is a great game to own. Good Luck :D
