So what is RSS, anyway?
RSS is a format for getting news and other information online. It's a standard format, so there are many programs known as readers, digests or aggregators that can read and display the content. From your news reader, you can subscribe to news headlines from your favorite websites. This way, you only have to visit one website (or open a program on your computer) to get all the latest news from dozens of your favorite websites across the Internet!

How do I use it?
To make use of RSS, first you have to get a News Reader. Most modern web browsers have one built in and there are also numerous readers on the web which can be visited as web pages. There are also actual programs that you can download onto your computer. See below for a list of news readers.
