I love math, and my goal is to become a math teacher. The reason that I like math is because is challenging, once you reach calculus and linear functions everything gets harder and sometimes confusing, just like games, every level is more challenging and once you finish it, you end up with a big satisfaction because you finish something that was really hard. Plus I think that if you like math you can become anything you want, you use math for every day tasks. If you are good at math you can be an architect, a scientist, a teacher, accounting, program computer programs, etc. You use math if you are a waitress to calulate your tip or charge the taxes, if you are a cashier, you have to count money in order to pay, when you want to reach an amount goal you deduct what you have from what you need, you use math in everything. One more thing, that since everyone hates doing math (well most of the people), when you get good at it people tend to be impresed by you because they know that is a hard subject, and you don't have to born being good at math, it just takes practice. Everytime I answer or understand a calculus equation and the theories I feel proud of my self, even if I don't use calculus in every day life but I know that if some day I need for, whatever reason, to use the limit of something I know how to get it, or the volume from a cilinder or a cone.
Well I think those are the reasons why people like math alot because is challenging and gives you a sence of proudness and admiration, and no I'm not a nerd, I used to skeep school alot and I go to parties, play games, whatch Tv, and do fun stuff, so math is for everyone who wants to try something challenging. Have you ever try to make a difficult sum without writing it on a paper? or multiply something in your head?
