i had some games do that myself, i thought it was vista because well honestly i dont like it. but anyways i contacted playfirst tech department and they helped me get the game working. if they cant for some reason they will refund your money. so i would contact them and see if they can help you. it may take a day or two for them to answer but that would be my first choice and like i said if they cant for some reason get the game working for you they will refund your money. hope this helps
This happened to me several times last night. I finally just walked away, and when I came back, it had updated! Don't know if it's just a large update, or if I just got lucky, but it worked. I haven't tried it again this morning, but will be soon. Another thing to try would be to disable your antivirus and firewall temporarily in case they are blocking the updates. Good luck, hope this helped..... And if all else fails, contact PlayFirst directly.
Hi Danger. I had this happen to me also when I tried to play dinner dash. It would get as far as updates and freeze. I tried the support staff for help. Yes, they are there to help you.
What I finally did that worked, I took my whole computer to my son's house. He has high speed and all I have is dialup. I went through the whole thing again and tried to open the game. It went to the update stage as usual and this time didn't freeze. I finally got to play the game I purchased. I don't know if you have high speed or dial up but this worked for me.
Also, i just finished the trial version of Wandering Willows. I think I will be purchasing it also. It looks simple, but I believe I am hooked!
