Your other option is to use your login name rather than your email address when you're registering the game. I do that every time ;)

when i play a online game will it save so i can continue it later?

it also depends on the type of game it is. Some java-based games do appear to enter their progress to your computer's registry and so "remember" where you got to, whether you're logged into the site or not.
