So, I fell in love with Fish Tycoon, and decided to take a peek at Plant Tycoon. And I am so glad I did. The setting, though fairly static, is WONDERFULLY rendered. The plants are interesting, and it's fun to sell watch them grow. Unlike Fish Tycoon, there is a slight Mini-Game that you can play that keeps you interacting with the game while you wait for your plants to grow, catching the fun and lovely bugs that crawl about your geenhouse!
This kind of game is the epitomy of casual, a game you can walk away from for a little while. In it you get to plant a variety of seeds, keep them watered and free of bugs, trim any dying leaves, and when they mature, you cross polinate them, and watch as your hybrids either thrive or fail, depending on the type of soil you can afford, and, after they've given you all the seeds they can, you can sell them off to afford the next batch of bigger and better!
I'd recomend this game to you if you enjoyed Fish Tycoon, or, if you simply love plants!
