Just leave the paper on the table in the lounge.  When guests are getting upset while waiting for something in their room, they will automatically go to the table and read the paper before they return.  This buys some time for Flo and also their patience go up a little.
You don't have to do anything since the guests will go there automatically.  However, keep an eye on the table and replenish the paper when it is read (gone).
And this only works for guests waiting in rooms, not those in the line-up.

If you are already a member of Playfirst then you can go to the score screen in the game and use the submit button to send your score to Playfirst.  You should get your medal once it is sent. 
However, you can only get medals if you downloaded the game from Playfirst and not any other site.  This is a benefit to Playfirst members only.
Also, if you play just the trial then you get only get what you can get within the time frame that you played.
