in previous virtual games, you can adjust the speed in options or whatever, but in virtual families that option isn't available for you. so it takes a long time for them to do things. walking around the house to pick up trash takes too long, and earning money can be ridiculous. from my personal game experience, i made my person work a lot and was only able to get 30 in one day. this can be frustrating considering you need money to upgrade work areas and buy certain items to solve some puzzles in your home. it's an alright game all in all, but certain things could have made it more enjoyable.
