You don't need anymore Dream Jewels to open the secret Stairway.  Take the strange symbol and click on the floor at the darker brown area and it will open up.

Help!! I am stuck in the Nexis Room

Asked by lindylu22 in Dream Chronicles - The Chosen Child – 6 months ago
Remember that 2 Reds make Red.  2 Blues make blue and 2 yellows make yellow.  Then Red and Blue make purple, blue and yellow make green and red and yellow make orange.  The Nexus gateway works as if a light is shining through the jewels one on top of the other.

So if you have 2 purples and a yellow, you will either need a jewel with 2 reds and a yellow and another with 2 blues and a yellow OR two jewels with red, blue and yellow and put the red and blue areas on top of one another.

The third installment of Dream Chronicles is visually stunning! I've never seen a more gorgeous game. We find that even though we have reached Fidget in the last game, he and Lyra are still lost to Faye. The game play is slightly different from the last two installments because the sparkles are missing. So if you can't find something-you really can't find it. None of the puzzles are hard, and the game can easily be played in about an hour and a half. There are great walkthroughs out there and enough challenges for even the most seasoned veteran. Play multiple times and get multiple Dream jewels-just like DC2!
